Southwest Harbor is your starting point on Acadia's quiet side — fewer visitors, wider views, and roads where the only traffic is the occasional lobster truck. The Bosch 750Wh battery gives you 30 to 50 miles of range, and at e-bike pace, that covers serious ground.
We fit your bike, walk you through the controls, and send you off with a detailed trail map marking our favorite routes, lunch stops, and swimming holes. You set the agenda. Some riders cover 40 miles. Others find a spot on the Seawall rocks and stay for an hour. Both are the right answer.

Bass Harbor & the Seawall
The Seawall is a mile-long natural granite barrier where the ocean meets the forest. Ride along it at your own pace, then continue south to the lighthouse.
Western Mountain Loop
For riders who want elevation: climb into the western mountains for panoramic views of Somes Sound, Blue Hill Bay, and the outer islands.

The 750Wh Bosch battery lasts 30–50 miles depending on assist level and terrain.
Lunch Options
Beal's Lobster Pier is a 5-minute ride from our store. Pack a picnic for the Seawall rocks or ride to Thurston's in Bass Harbor.
No Attachments
Pull-behind trailers and child seats are not compatible with the e-bikes.
No Pets
Pets may not accompany you on the e-bike rental.

Free public parking beside our store on Village Green Way.
Riding Ability
Comfortable riding a bicycle on gravel and paved roads. No prior e-bike experience needed.
